Guess Whose Back, PINK Diamonds??
It's been a minute! LOL! I know so many amazing events and accolades have happened since December 31, 2022!! I am no longer studying at USC Annenberg School of Communication and Journalism, but I am now studying at National University Sanford College of Education where I am studying as a PhD student Curriculum and Teaching since 2024! I realized I wanted to go in a different direction with my academic goals. I am supremely happy at National University and I am a scholar with a 3.94 GPA!

I am still in Houston, Texas, yet in a blink of an eye I have an expectant heart that my geographic location will change! I will definitely keep you all updated on where I will be next! I miss living and thriving in New York City! It's been 6 years since I moved down to Houston, Texas to study towards my Executive MBA at Prairie View A&M University and 3 years since I graduated in December 2021! I will celebrate my forth year in December 2025! I am a two-time PVAMU alumni and so very proud to be a HBCU graduate.
I am also a Prairie View A&M University 5 Year Class Reunion Alumni Ambassador 1991.

I have been working closely with The Rhythm and Blues Preservation Society based in Atlantic City, New Jersey for the last five years with the Founder/President Mr. Perry Thompson with a mission to preserve Black music culture one record at a time. We have been working really hard to get funding, advocating for African American music studies in colleges and universities, join a national music education panel to help get federal funding for schools K-12 all across America. Although it has been challenging times for fundraising efforts we are still very excited about what the future holds.

I put my Phyllis Hyman tribute on hold for the last six years to pursue my academic dreams. I made sure to sing on social media from time to time and celebrated her 75th birthday online this past July 2025, but I am happy to share I am getting back in action to fundraising to record a tribute album and documentary to be completed by 2029 in conjunction with a birthday celebration what would have been her 80th birthday on July 6, 2029. This year marks the 15th anniversary of the debut on this Diva's Diamonds by Queen Diva Blog on Blogger.com. It was on July 23, 2010 I posted my first post and I never imagined I would still come back to the very blog that started so many other divisions of my Diva's Diamonds Brand such as Diva's Diamonds Book Club, Diva's Diamonds Books, Diva's Diamonds Conference, PINK Diamonds Beauty, PINK Diamonds Fitness Club, PINK Diamonds Beauty Cosmetics, PINK Diamonds Dream University, PINK Diamonds Dream Mentoring Program, and Diva's Diamonds by Queen Diva Podcast. I prayerfully decided to return back to where it all started and take it to another level! I started this blog to share inspiration empowerment, and encouragement to all who have an ear to hear and receive love with my words. Now more than ever it seems we need healing and loving words to be shared online. I am determined to get back to doing just that. I want to thank each and every one of you who have visited this blog from the beginning and have circled back during that last 15 years to be inspired, empowered, and encouraged when you needed it most.
